I am new to the Raspberry Pi and will use this site to document what I have learnt, both as a reference for myself and hopefully to help others.
A Raspberry Pi is a small, inexpensive computer, not much bigger than a credit card. It is extremely flexible as it can run a huge range of software as well as easily interface to hardware and electronic components.
It is developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a UK based charity.
The links below will hopefully help you get started with your Raspberry Pi. If you intend to plug a keyboard/mouse/monitor into your Pi and develop direct on the device then you can skip the first part.
